The weather has been bad since morning; hot and humid. From nine o'clock until ten o'clock I attacked cockroaches with bug killer. I killed about 40 cockroaches in all. Then around 10:30 Takachan and I got on the streetcar in front of Zenkoji Temple, transferred once, and got off at Nishikimachi to go to the roller rink. I fell about ten times. Takachan didn't fall once. My hands got all black. Also on the rink was the kid from the movie house next door. He was only 5 years old but he could skate much better than Takachan or me. It was embarassing. the end
