I woke up early and went to the beach in Aomori by the discount train. We had to change trains two or three times. The tide was up already when we arrived. I was very happy. I got home in the evening. Before I had the feeling that I had just come to Tokyo but now I don't feel this way. The train we will take to go home isn't running because the Shinbashi bridge fell and won't be fixed until around the 21st. This made me very sad. Today is O Bon in Kyoto. I'm sure the east and the other directions are lit up. Last year on this day Kinchan, Shinsan, and I went together to see the Daimonji . Last year my lantern looked something like this (see picture).
